Professor Paul Kellog, Keith Goetz, Steve Monson, Naiguo Lin, John Grund, Robert Howard, Shirley Ring, and Larry Weisensel are part of the Ulysses Unified Radio and Plasma Wave Experiment(URAP)team. Ulysses is a joint endeavor of NASA and the European Space Agency(ESA). It is the first spacecraft to explore the heliosphere out of the plane of the ecliptic and over the solar poles. Electrical preamplfiers and the Fast Envelope Plasma Frequency Receiver for the URAP experiment were built at the University of Minnesota. |
